PackSure Complimentary Test Offer Terms and Conditions


  1. Eligibility
    This offer is open only to organisations that attended the Packaging Distilled event held on the 2nd June 2026.
  2. Offer
    Eligible organisations may request one complimentary test only from the following qualifying options:
  • one climate test, limited to a 6-day damp heat cycling test carried out in accordance with the PackSure standard test protocol.

OR

  • one vibration test, carried out for a maximum duration of three and a half hours in accordance with the PackSure standard test protocol.
  1. What is included
    This offer includes:
  • one qualifying test on one item only.
  • standard test setup unless otherwise authorised by PackSure
  • one technical report detailing the results
  • one follow-up conversation of up to one hour with a member of the PackSure team to discuss the outcome of the test.

For the avoidance of doubt, this discussion will be limited to the test results only and will not include advice or recommendations in relation to improvements, changes, or modifications to the tested product.

  1. What is not included
    The offer does not include:
  • repeat testing of previously tested items
  • testing of more than one item at a time
  • full certification
  • formal compliance sign-off
  • expedited turnaround
  • consultancy beyond the included technical report and one-hour follow-up conversation
  • redesign work
  • shipping or courier costs
  • any additional testing or services not expressly included in these terms

    To claim the offer, please email:

  • name
  • company
  • confirmation of event attendance
  • desired test option
  • details of the item to be tested
  1. Claim and booking period
    Claims and bookings must be made within 11 months of the Packaging Distilled event. The offer expires in full 12 months after the date of the event, and no claims, bookings or testing can be accepted after that point.
  2. Availability
    All testing is strictly subject to availability, laboratory capacity, sample suitability and operational constraints.
  3. Sample requirements
    The organisation claiming the offer must provide the samples required for testing at its own cost.
  • All samples must arrive in a condition suitable for testing
  • Samples must be representative of the item the organisation wishes to assess
  1. Unsuitable or excluded items
    PackSure reserves the right to refuse to test any item that:
  • is hazardous, unsafe or presents a risk to life
  • is leaking
  • is too large for the testing area
  • is temperature-sensitive, unstable or otherwise unsuitable for the selected test unless agreed in advance
  • cannot reasonably be tested due to circumstances outwith PackSure’s control

PackSure will accept all reasonable testing items, but suitability will be d determined by PackSure acting reasonably.

  1. Suitability of selected test
    PackSure reserves the right to determine, acting reasonably, whether the selected test is suitable for the submitted packaging format and testing objective. Where the selected option is unsuitable, PackSure may offer an alternative qualifying test or withdraw the offer.
  2. Nature of the report and results
    The technical report provided as part of this offer will detail the results of the test carried out on the submitted sample(s). The report and follow-up discussion are provided for information and advisory purposes only. They do not amount to full certification, formal compliance approval, or a guarantee of performance in all real-world conditions.
  3. No cash alternative or substitution
    This offer:
  • has no cash value
  • cannot be exchanged for credit or discount
  • is non-transferable
  • is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion
  1. Additional work
    Any work requested beyond the scope of this offer, including additional testing, repeat testing, redesign input, consultancy beyond the included one-hour follow-up, or further reporting, will be subject to a separate quotation and charge.
  2. Liability
    Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, PackSure shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the promotional service or reliance on the screening report.
  3. Changes to or withdrawal of the offer
    PackSure reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  4. Data use
    By claiming this offer, organisations agree that any personal data or business contact details provided may be used by PackSure for the administration of the offer, and for promotional, marketing and sales purposes, in accordance with applicable data protection law.
  5. Governing law
    These terms and conditions are governed by Scots law.
